Please note: if you would like to receive regular updates on how to pray for Christian Union's work at Harvard, please email prayer@christianunion.org.

Thank God for a time of anticipation!

Thank you for your prayers for our summer Bible study. The faculty of Christian Union at Harvard, through the organization Harvard College Faith and Action (HCFA) has been a part of a rotation to teach from the Book of First Peter. There are around 40 students who attend the meetings. Please pray for the students as they gather in fellowship with one another, that they might be challenged to continue to seek the Lord.

Thank you for your prayers for the team of HCFA students and other interested students who have ventured to Ishinomaki, Japan, to work with the Ishinomaki Christian Center. This city is one most hard hit by the tsunami of 2011. The students were safe after an earthquake hit the area and a tsunami warning had been issued. Thank you for praying for their safety.

Please join us as we pray for a ministry fellow to replace me as I prepare to move to California with my husband as he begins a graduate program at CalArts this fall. It's been a joy to pray and interact with all of you over this monthly update. Words cannot capture the tremendous blessings I have received during my four years of being on faculty with Christian Union, and much of this is a result of all of your prayers and support. I will continue to pray for you and join you in praying for the staff and faculty of Christian Union and the students of each campus.

Many students continue to seek the Lord regarding a deeper understanding of Him, for healing, and for restoration in their lives. We are grateful for this, but we are lacking in the office space that is necessary to accommodate the growing staff and students. We have found a temporary lease situation that is closer to Harvard Yard, but nothing that is long-term. Please continue to pray that He will provide for His work through this ministry financially and in overall resources.

Thank you for your ongoing prayer support to advance God's kingdom at Harvard!
