God is on the move at Harvard Law! Thank you for your support and prayers. Since the start of the academic year, I have been holding weekly mentoring meetings, Bible courses, leadership lecture series, and great conversations with law school students who are seeking more of Christ in their lives.
A few weeks ago, I was in a weekly mentoring meeting with one of my 3Ls who gave his life to Christ 6 months ago and got baptized over the summer—as we were studying through the Gospel of Mark—and he shared that the last three months of his life have been transformative. He said that the words of the Apostle Paul, as recorded in Colossians, are coming alive to him when Paul wrote that we've "died to the elemental spirits of this world" and that we are also "raised with Christ." He fully grasps the “old is gone, the new has come” paradigm. Praise God for how he works in such a powerful way in a new believer's life! He wants to truly seek Him and not just His "stuff." I'm amazed at how much he is growing!
Wonderful things are happening not only in individual law school students’ lives but also in our community of believers. In our Bible Course, one of our students memorized Colossians 3:12-17 and recited it for everyone as we studied the passage! She encouraged the other students to do the same. We are truly inspired to hide God’s word in our hearts so that we may not sin against Him (Psalm 119.)
Campus life across our country, as you may know, has been turbulent due to the atrocities of the Israel-Hamas war. If you missed the recent article in Christianity Today highlighting Christian Union and other ministries’ campus responses, feel free to read it here.
It would be a blessing to the ministry if you would be willing to consider a one-time or recurring gift to support what God is doing through CU Gloria Law to make Christ known at Harvard Law School using this secure link:
