A Freshman's Pivotal First Weeks

Soon, tens of thousands of students will begin their academic journeys at: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, donate nowHarvard, Harvard Law, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale.

The friends they make, clubs they join, and interests they develop those first few weeks often shape their college career.

At these secular schools, incoming students urgently need resources to learn about the Gospel, and they must receive multiple invitations into Christian community immediately.

Christian Union’s freshman outreach is an all-out effort at each campus. Christian Union faculty and upperclassmen pray for these student, meet as many as possible (last fall there were 3,987 meetings cumulatively) and put on over 150 events.

God willing, hundreds of freshmen will be enrolled in a Christian Union Bible course by the end of the campaign (events wrap up at most campuses by late September).

Making Christ Known on Secular Campuses

The goal is to reach them with the Gospel and develop them over four years.

Growth comes through the Holy Spirit, working through in-depth biblical instruction, mentorship, participation in a community that seeks God together, and leadership experience and coaching.

May Christ define the rest of their lives and the spheres of influence they will one day inhabit.

Blessing the Nation through Godly Leaders

These are 10 of the 20 universities that produce 63% of the most influential leaders in the nation.

Their spiritual wellbeing will influence the future of this nation.
