A Power With (Part 1)

By Justin Doyle

From ChristianUnion.org

For years, my attention has been drawn to the mandate given to humanity in Genesis 1:26-28, particularly the command to subdue and have dominion/rule. In a post-colonial world, those words, when applied to humanity, have a way of punching me in the gut and disorienting me.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer: German Theologian and Resister

From Christianity Today

3 bonhoffer

So despondent had been the German people after the defeat of World War I and the subsequent economic depression that the charismatic Hitler appeared to be the nation's answer to prayer—at least to most Germans. Prayer Requests

UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES

Please pray for the ministry faculty that serve students at the universities where Christian Union ministers. Pray for emotional, spiritual, and physical strength as the long year winds to an end, for wisdom in how to invest the hours remaining in the school year, and for fruit in their lives and in the lives of the students to whom they minister.

CITY MINISTRIES
What an amazing couple of weeks! Our March 29 salon, “Faith in Giving: A Paradigm Shift for the City”, was a great success, with 30+ young professionals engaging on what it means to think and plan for long-term strategic giving. Next week, on April 17, CU New York will host a forum around the new off-Broadway play, Babette’s Feast. This remarkable story explores the themes of generosity and flourishing. Co-sponsored by The Trinity Forum, this event will highlight a conversation with artist Mako Fujimura and play producer Abbie Killeen on the relevance of those themes today in New York.

DAY & NIGHT
Pray for the upcoming Great Experiment, May 1-31, 2018. Pray that thousands will experience God in powerful ways as they challenge themselves and seek His presence. Pray about signing up yourself!
