He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Christian Union Ministry Fellow Jon Yeager, speaking at the ministry's leadership lecture series at Harvard, gives a talk called "Stranger Stories at Harvard." He tackles the question, 'What does the Netflix original Stranger Things — a show that has captured the imagination of many students — have to do with the story of God?' His conclusion? Mystery and glory. (Note: This is one talk, posted in two parts. The total length of the two is 41:00.)

Tolstoy’s Familiar Crisis of Faith

By Nick Nowalk

From ChristianUnion.org

Few things are more paralyzing to believers than that particularly dread gloom which inevitably dawns whenever a vague, gnawing sense of the unreality and irrelevance of the claims of Christian faith begins to crystallize in experience...

By Kevin Antlitz
From Patheos.com

Prayer Requests

UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES

Praise the Lord for providing the urgently needed facility for a ministry center just steps from Columbia University. Pray for a smooth purchase closing that will take place six days from now. Also, be in prayer for Nexus 2018, a conference that convenes hundreds of students involved in Christian Union University ministries. More than 280 students have registered to attend the February 23-25 conference in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and still more are anticipated. Pray for those still deciding, that they would come! Ask God to move mightily in their lives through the speakers, prayer, breakout sessions, and small groups.

CITY MINISTRIES
With multiple events in February we’re looking forward to seeing God work through speakers and activities that draw us into a fuller engagement of work, community, and issues in the city – with the Gospel. Please pray to this end, giving thanks for how God redeems.

CHRISTIAN UNION DAY & NIGHT
Please pray for Christian Union Day and Night's outreach through Facebook. Pray that American Christians would be inspired to a whole new level of devotion in seeking after God as we host “Keys to Revival,” a series of Facebook Live videos.
