Lorri Bentch

Vice President of Operations

lorriLorri graduated magna cum laude from Princeton with a degree in Politics. She served in missions in Mexico and Russia, then in 1994 she and her husband moved to Hungary to launch a new ministry among fine-arts professionals in Eastern Europe. She earned a Masters of Law in Constitutional Law from Central European University and helped plant a church.

Lorri joined Christian Union in 2007 and served as a ministry fellow for five years before assuming her current role. Lorri and her husband, Tim, have three daughters.


Elizabeth Bloodworth

Events Manager

elizabethElizabeth graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in History. She was previously on staff with FOCUS (The Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools) where she worked with independent school students in a variety of capacities including mentoring and teaching as well as planning a wide range of camps, conferences, and events.

Elizabeth joined Christian Union in 2011. Even though she was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and still drinks sweet tea, she now calls New York City home.


David Johnson

IT Director 

daveDavid grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing. David served with Campus Crusade for Christ for four years, first working in their development office, in major gifts, and then as Director of Development Services. Subsequently, David earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern University. He has worked in the technology sector for EDS in quality assurance and as a marketing manager for Covad Communications.

Dave joined Christian Union in 2008. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in the Philadelphia area with their three school age sons.


Andy Ballard

Systems Support Specialist

Andy graduated magna cum laude from Samford University with a major in Religion and a minor in Ancient Greek. He went on to complete a Master of Divinity degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. After marrying his beloved Lauren, they moved to Atlanta where Lauren completed master's degrees in marriage therapy and theology. While in Atlanta, Andy worked for the Atlanta Police and Fire Departments as a Computer Aided Dispatch operator. After applying to doctoral programs, Andy was accepted to Fordham University, and completed a PhD in Christianity in Antiquity, focusing on the Apostle Paul's use of "mystery" in 1-2 Corinthians. Andy has a passion for the Information Technology world, and has been involved in IT training and support for many years.

Andy began working with Christian Union in 2016. He and his wife, Lauren, live in Alabama and have two beautiful girls, Abigail and Caroline.


Pam Traeger

Partnership Grant Administrator

pamPam administers the Christian Union Partnership Grant Program. She was born, raised, and employed in England before moving to the United States when her family was young. When not working at Christian Union, she can be found either creating lampshades for 'luxury custom lampshades,' a business she founded and has successfully run for two decades, or working in her garden. Pam has three grown children and six grandchildren.


Vickie Coonan

Administrative Assistant

vickie coonanVickie joined Christian Union in 2017 to support the VP of Operations and the team in Princeton. She brings to Christian Union more than nine years of administrative experience at Star 99.1 FM, a Christian radio station in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to that, she volunteered at various organizations and Bible studies in the Princeton area in leadership roles,·all while performing her duties as a Domestic Engineer for 17 years.

Vickie grew up in Maryland and earned a BS in business and finance from Mount St. Mary's University. In 1985, she moved to New Jersey to be near her college sweetheart, John, whom she married in 1989. Vickie and John live in Princeton and have three wonderful children, Jimmy, Marykate, and Joe.


Helene Ulrich

Office Manager

heleneHelene grew up in Edison, New Jersey. She taught high school for ten years and then went to work for AT&T in a variety of capacities, including Programmer, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, and Quality Manager.

After twenty years in the telecommunications industry, she joined Christian Union in 2003. She has two daughters, Elaina and Anne.


Tom Campisi

Managing Editor

A veteran of 20 years in the newspaper and publishing industry, Tom began writing as a “stringer” for the Trenton Times while attending The College of New Jersey. After graduation, he worked as the sports editor of the Hopewell Valley News and as a reporter and special section manager at the Star-Ledger, New Jersey’s largest newspaper.

In 1994, sensing the call of the Lord, Tom left the Star-Ledger and spent a year in the advertising department at Christian radio station WWDJ before becoming the publisher of the·Tri-State Voice, a monthly Christian newspaper that covers Metro New York City. In the spring of 2007, after writing two different articles concerning the spiritual history of Princeton University, Tom again sensed the Lord’s will, “expanded his tent pegs,” and joined Christian Union. Tom and his wife Christen reside in Oakland, New Jersey, and are the proud parents of two children, Victoria and Matthew.


Catherine Elvy

Staff Writer

In 2007, Catherine Elvy joined Christian Union, shortly before the birth of her oldest son, as a staff writer for The Ivy League Christian Observer, now Christian Union: The Magazine.Since then, she has enjoyed sharing the fascinating ventures and far-reaching influence of both emerging leaders and established alumni from the nation’s top tier of universities.  

Earlier, she spent a decade in Florida’s newspaper scene, where she covered a wealth of business, government and legal news, especially tied to economic development and retail trends. As well, she enthusiastically devoted four years to teaching at one of North Carolina’s largest high schools, where she also oversaw award-winning publications and was active in regional and national scholastic journalism organizations.

When she is not writing or researching articles for Christian Union, the Central New Jerseymother is juggling myriad activities for her decidedly energetic, inquisitive sons. They especially enjoy fun-filled, outdoorsy and educational excursions.
