Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways ... In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory," says the Lord Almighty.

Building His Kingdom

By Laurel Copp
From ChristianUnion.org
Have you ever found yourself lost on the internet? After 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or maybe even an hour, you catch yourself and wonder, “How was I able to waste so much time without even thinking about it?” For me, it is on Etsy or Pinterest browsing ideas for decorating my house -- and poof -- 30 minutes are gone.

I am not alone in wasting time decorating my house. In a little book called Haggai, at the end of the Old Testament, God raises up a prophet to tell the Israelites that they are wasting their time ...

College Cornerstone

By David Navadeh
From ChristianUnion.org
2 collegeThe ministry of Christian Union at Cornell truly has been a cornerstone of my college experience and a deciding factor in choosing to attend Cornell. I Googled 'Christian groups Cornell' and Christian Union showed up. I read about the ministry and its mission, and decided to go to Cornell because I was so impressed with Christian Union’s strategy of training leaders at strategic schools ... By His grace I felt right at home in Christian Union almost immediately.

Abortion isn't Mercy

By Julian Assele
From Yale Daily News
I never knew my father. My mother raised me by herself, which meant that life was often hard, despite her best efforts. I mostly slept on couches. There were days when I only ate peanut butter toast and spaghetti, simply because that was all we could get. My mother and I lived in motels and small apartments for many of my early years. Eventually, when my mother and extended family couldn’t ...

Prayer Requests

UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES
Our ministry teams are very involved in prayerfully setting new goals for the next academic year. These goals include reaching incoming freshmen, increasing the number of students in our Bible courses, and reaching the campus at large with the Gospel. Pray for us that we would hear from the Lord as we set bold goals for next year. And pray that we will have great courage to carry out God's intent to show His love and power on each campus.

CITY MINISTRIES
We appreciate the many prayers for our annual CU Cities Conference that took place June 21-22. The speakers, sessions, and times of worship and prayer all focused on our call to be courageous in our faithfulness and engagement with society -- in ways both thoughtful and compelling. Thank you for your prayers and involvement in making this conference fruitful and consequential, and we rejoice in how God answered.

DAY & NIGHT

Please pray for the upcoming 21-Day Fast, held August 12 - September 1, 2019. Pray that thousands of American Christians will join us in seeking God through prayer and fasting. May God hear our cry for widespread revival! Find out more and sign up today at dayandnight.org.
