On Saturday, CU New York hosted its 3rd annual fall kickoff event. A group of over 50 young professionals enjoyed a cruise on the Hudson. Recent graduates were excited for the opportunity to connect with other like-minded professionals as they search for a church home and a fruitful community amidst the bustling culture of New York.
Many attendees are eager to participate in CU New York’s community groups and various volunteer opportunities. Amidst the fellowship and views of Manhattan we spoke of the mission of CU New York to build networks of transformative Christian leaders—leaders who will engage this city in redemptive and sustainable ways.
We pray that the connections formed aboard the cruise continue to grow as these young professionals engage with each other over the next few months. And we pray that our industry networks will result in visible change as these men and women dive deeply into their faith and their calling.
