For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.

Splendor and majesty are before Him;
strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

Prayer Requests

A junior at Yale, who is involved with Christian Union's ministry, was elected to be editor-in-chief for the Yale Daily News. Please pray for this student to use this considerable influence wisely and effectively in setting the agenda and tone for a publication that is highly significant to the campus community.

Continue to pray for the last official week of focused freshmen welcoming efforts for Princeton, Brown and Dartmouth. Pray that many freshmen will join a Bible course, get involved, and develop as Christian leaders. Also pray for the energy and endurance for the many Christian Union faculty and students who spend countless hours and vast amounts of energy planning and executing freshman events and meetings. Praise the Lord for the many freshmen who have already gotten involved.

Christian Union's ministry directors at Cornell and Columbia have developed relationships with the football coaches at these two schools, and with many players on the teams. Praise God the coaches have given them opportunities to share and pray with the team members. Please pray for God to move powerfully in the lives of many of these players.
