Thank you for your faithful partnership in the gospel ministry at HLS. Please know that every moment you seek the Lord on our behalf is precious to us. And we trust the Lord along with you for his abundant grace to accomplish all of his plans on the HLS campus and beyond.
The end of our fall semester is upon us and our wonderful students are finishing their classes and papers and beginning to prepare for their finals. It probably goes without saying, but the demands of final exams at HLS can be overwhelming, especially for the 1L’s in their first semester. Still, we just had a joyful Thanksgiving celebration and our students are trusting in the Lord more than ever as we wrap up our Bible Courses. They are looking forward to the spring studies and the special events that will help them integrate the Christian faith and the law.
As the end of the semester draws near, please join us in praying for our students and this ministry as we seek to finish well.
- Endurance: Pray that the Lord will bless each one of our students with the physical strength and mental focus they need to study with diligence and that he will honor their efforts.
- Perspective: Pray that our students will remember always that the entire
course of their lives is governed by God who guards them through faith in Christ, even through trials that ultimately serve to glorify the Lord and increase their joy in him. - Peace: Pray that our students will take all things to God to honor him and to know his peace that surpasses all understanding.
As I have done the past few months, I leave you for now with another encouraging testimony from one of our students who graduated this past spring:
