“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” - Paul to the Church in Rome (Rom 15:13 ESV)

Dear CU Gloria Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Cambridge!

Spring classes have commenced and COVID-related restrictions on campus are few. Harvard’s winter break is generous so the student's higher energy level is refreshing, especially in the depths of winter. What will this semester hold? God truly only knows, but we have been deeply encouraged by early signs of the work of the Spirit in our midst. I will frame our prayer requests accordingly…

  • Many new students are expressing interest in our Bible courses. Please pray that our serious study of the scriptures in good company will bear much fruit in the minds and hearts of everyone.
  • Please say a prayer for our Winter Retreat, beginning this Friday night at DOXA (our Leadership Lecture Series) and all day Saturday at a nearby abbey. Many of you know our speaker, Nick Nowalk, a former Christian Union ministry fellow who served at Harvard and Columbia. Over seventy-five students are currently signed up, many new to our community, and we can’t wait to see all that the Lord accomplishes as we consider the nature of the Kingdom of God (and get a little bit crazy as a community).
  • Please pray for our Executive Leaders as they continue to govern and inspire. Chinaza, Caleb, Katherine, and Felix have been pouring themselves out for almost a year now despite all of the uncertainties and challenges (Caleb for two years!) and I would love to see them enjoy the fruits of their labors, as hard-working farmers ought.

Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your partnership in the gospel.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Don Weiss
Ministry Director
