Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have towards the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. - Philemon 1:3-6

Greetings from Providence! We are so thankful for your prayers and continued support towards our ministry at CU Libertas. The student leaders have been sensing that the Lord will move in mighty ways this coming year!

During this summer, CU Libertas met over Zoom and prayed together for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Brown. We have the assurance that as we ask, seek and knock, the Lord will be faithful in answering our requests. Our student leaders are equipped and eager to meet the incoming class of freshmen. The students have diligently made contact with incoming freshmen through a social media outreach and have made great strides in connecting students. In addition to welcoming the class of 2027 through our upcoming Freshman campaign, our student leaders have already set up coffee and lunch meets with freshmen. This personal connection of discipleship is made possible through your ongoing prayers and generosity. In past years, we have seen students come to Jesus over a lunch meet up or cup of coffee. In this we greatly rejoice that the Holy Spirit is paving the way through your continued support to reach the campus for Christ.

In the coming months the following prayer points will be greatly appreciated:Our endeavors and plans for the upcoming freshman campaign would yield a great reward, as multiple students connect with one another and build a robust community.

  1. Our endeavors and plans for the upcoming freshman campaign would yield a great reward, as multiple students connect with one another and build a robust community.
  2. Bible courses would be filled and bring about lasting transformation in students' lives.
  3. A powerful move of the Holy Spirit to sweep over the campus and engulf the darkness with the light of the Gospel.
  4. Student leaders would continue to rise up and commit to seeing the Great Commision come to fruition at Brown.
  5. That the love of Christ would invade hearts, change minds and bring about a lasting change that would be seen for generations to come.

With much love and gratitude,

Sheri Casali
