Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

"Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!" - Psalm 95:1-2

Greetings from CU Libertas at Brown!

Each spring, our ministry transitions student leader roles for the upcoming year. It is a bittersweet time as we honor the student leaders who have faithfully served, and welcome in new student leaders that have been prayerfully considered. This May, three of our students who serve on the worship team will be graduating! We are so grateful for their years of service on the worship team with CU Libertas. Two of our seniors, Joel Manasseh (keys) and Ella Matsudaira (guitar/vocals) are the current ministry team leaders for our worship team. They are both extremely gifted in both music, as well as leadership development. As we prepare to see them off in May, they have already gone ahead and raised up our next ministry team leaders for the 2024-2025 term. Daniel Amadi (2027) and Abie Otote (2027) will be our next ministry team leaders on worship. Daniel and Abie are excellent vocalists, as they have both served on the worship teams at their local churches. We praise the Lord for how He has worked powerfully through our current worship team, and we are equally expectant for how He will continue to inhabit our praises in the coming year.

In addition to welcoming in new student leaders, each spring we pray and work together to saturate the campus with the gospel. Our worship team will be hosting a service in the Underground Cafe the second week of April. We are praying that students who have not heard the good news, especially in the form of worship, will come to this event. The team has been praying and planning in advance for a rich time of worship that will draw hearts to our Father. In May, our worship team will be joining several of the other campus ministries for a night of worship in Manning Chapel, which is also in the center of campus. We believe that the message of the cross will be heard and received as we engage the campus community in these important events. Please join us in praying for many lives to encounter the love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ at each worship service.

Thank you for your continued support and prayerful intercession on behalf of CU Libertas. Your kindness and generosity are making a tangible impact for the Kingdom of Heaven to continue to advance at Brown University.
