Hannah Dorpfeld

Christian Union Ministry Intern at Cornell

hannah dorpfeldHannah is from Medina, New York. She spent one year at Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC before transferring to Cornell University. Hannah graduated Cornell with a BS in Design and Environmental Analysis and minored in Education. During her time at Cornell she discovered her gifting in teaching and mentoring women by leading Christian Union bible studies. She also served Christian Union as outreach leader and helped organize community worship events.

Hannah's interests lie at the intersection of faith, art & design, and education. She loves running, swing dancing, small-scale concerts, painting, and tea. She finds the truest joy in helping others discover who they are in Christ and how they can interact with the world.

Carrie Jussely

Christian Union Ministry Fellow at Cornell

carrie jusselyCarrie, a native Mississippian, earned a BS in Hospitality Management from The University of Mississippi andan MA of Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. She has over 15 years of work experience in ministry, most of which has been ministering to students through her work with Young Life (Oxford, MS and St. Louis, MO), Park Cities Presbyterian Church (Dallas, Texas), and Reformed University Fellowship (The University of Arkansas). She also worked with Mission to the World as a missionary to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where she partnered with a local NGO ministering to victims of human trafficking and served on a church planting team. Carrie really enjoys events and retreats and studying and teaching the Bible, but her favorite part of ministry is relational discipleship – walking alongside students in their life, faith, and struggles as a friend, an encourager, and a mentor.

Carrie has three older brothers, seven outrageously adorable nieces and nephews, and two amazing parents. She owns a banjo (but can’t play it yet); and she loves to travel with her Shipley Donuts hat, photo-documenting the hat’s adventures across the globe.
