Dear CU Vita Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Another incredible month of ministry is behind us here at Christian Union Vita at Cornell! We are so grateful for how the Lord continues to work in and through our students as we seek to make Jesus the most talked about subject on campus in a culture that is increasingly in a state of upheaval.

We have had an incredible semester in our Bible courses, with new students continuing to join the community of Christian Union Vita on an almost weekly basis. We celebrate the Lord’s continuing faithfulness to grow the ministry as we coach and train close to 100 future Christian leaders to seek the Lord wholeheartedly.

The sense of community has also continued to grow stronger as our students have studied, worshiped, and shared the good news of Jesus throughout the spring. Our monthly worship events have continued to grow and attract new students, and have provided a critical time of spiritual refreshing and time in the Word. The Mott Center is being filled to the point that we are in the process of securing an auditorium on campus large enough to accommodate us for our future worship nights!

Our new student leadership team took over following their return from spring break, and they are passionate about CU Vita and our mission to grow and connect Christian leaders and bring about true revival at Cornell and beyond. We are thankful for the faithful students who have led this year, and we are so excited that the legacy of faithfulness continues into the future!

But we need your help. We are already looking to the fall and how we can best minister to the nearly 5,000 incoming freshmen who will arrive in Ithaca in just a few short months, as well as the thousands who are already students at Cornell. The ministry needs are greater than ever, and that means the financial costs of ministry have also grown significantly. Would you consider giving extra, perhaps even sacrificially, to the work we are doing here at CU Vita?

One look at the news makes clear the need for a concise, faithful gospel voice on our campus. Your financial support will not only make an impact for the 2024-25 academic year, but will literally make an eternal impact as we are able to not only continue ministry at the present level but grow as the Lord brings more and more students our way. Thank you for what you already do to support CU Vita, and for your consideration of giving additionally as the Lord leads and blesses you.

If you have any questions about the work of CU Vita, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. I would be happy to speak with you.

Pressing On,
