Tucker ElseChristian Union Director of Undergraduate Ministry at Penn
Tucker served as a pastor in Iowa for seven years. Prior to that he was a practicing attorney for an international bank (RaboBank). In preparation for pastoral ministry, he earned an MDiv at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He received his JD from Drake University.
Tucker and his wife, Marchelle, have been married for 21 years. They have four children: Lauren, Tamrick, Brennan, and Kianna. He loves reading, music, sports, and visiting all of Philadelphia's great neighborhoods. He takes delight in discipling students into a deeper love and affection for Jesus Christ.
Christian Union Ministry Fellow at Penn
Fuji JK Kim grew up in Philadelphia. While an undergraduate at Brandeis University, through participating in a vibrant college fellowship in a local church and serving a camp ministry, Fuji was called to ministry. He completed a Master of Arts in Christian Education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Fuji was then ordained in the Korean America Presbyterian Church denomination, trained as a church planter with CityNet Ministries and was a Fellow of the Redeemer Church Planting Center. Fuji has planted and served churches in the Philadelphia area. Since his last church plant and the advent of children, he completed a Doctor of Ministry project with Westminster Theological Seminary on gospel-driven discipleship.
Lisa was kind to marry Fuji and they have two energetic boys. His avocation is deliberating on the intersection of gospel and technology.
Kelly is a graduate of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. She has lived in Philadelphia for the last decade, and she served as an educator in the Philadelphia School District for nine years. She is a native of Northern California where she taught high school before moving to Philadelphia.
Kelly's family is split between the east and west coast. She has two girls who are currently attending university. Since middle school, Kelly's life goal has been to grow and serve in the love of Christ.
Mae graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics. She also earned an MBA from Columbia University. Mae has over a decade of experience in building consumer relationships for one of the biggest media companies in the world. She loves taking this experience to build and deepen relationships with the women in her Bible Course.
Mae is married to John, and they have three precocious children: Izzy (9), Isaac (8) and Isla (3). Even though their children’s names begin with the same letter, they still call a child the wrong name from time to time.
