Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It has been a spiritually rich month here in Princeton as our students have returned from break with a desire to seek the Lord. As you may know, Princeton’s usual academic calendar means that January is the month of final papers and assignments for the students. During this time, we have developed a tradition of hosting our daily prayer meetings at the Melrose Center. In the midst of exams and assignments, our students have been faithful to pray. Over this month, we regularly had groups of well over a dozen students praying together. Overall, we sense our students are showing an increased desire to seek the Lord and we praise God for this.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Ski Safari, which is happening the final week of January. James Roberson, the lead pastor at The Bridge Church in New York City, is speaking on the themes of discipleship and community. A number of the staff members also have the privilege of leading breakout sessions with our students on a variety of topics such as God’s will and the book of Revelation. We will be able to provide a full report on Ski Safari in our next letter. In the meantime, please pray that God will continue the work that He has started in the lives of our students during this significant week.

In addition to praying for this ongoing work, please be in prayer for the following:

  • Leadership Transitions: We now have four new executive student leaders in place. The next step in the process is to establish student team leaders for our nine different ministry teams. Would you be in prayer for this process and that our ministry will see students grow in their ability to disciple and minister to others?
  • Prayer and Seeking God: One of our student leaders has expressed a desire to start prayer meetings in all of the residential colleges on campus. Could you pray that God would bless this initiative as well as other, similar initiatives led by our students, to see the light of Christ overcome the spiritual darkness on Princeton’s campus?

Thank you, as always, for your prayers and financial support of our ministry. We understand ourselves to be fellow labors with you for Christ!

Grace and peace,
