Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

“…Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;….” Psalm 127:1

The Lord is indeed building His house as students arrive on campus! The atmosphere is charged with excitement, a bit of overwhelm, and expectation as students share their feelings about returning to the “orange bubble” after almost two years of virtual reality.

The good news is, not only have students returned to campus but there is a vibrant return to Christian Union Nova! The Melrose Center has filled again with plenty of warm hugs, robust conversations, and lively worship. On Sunday, August 29, it all began as students finished unpacking and then gathered to begin a welcome campaign for freshmen into the Christian community.

It’s called Pre-Retreat! And for a day and a half, students met in this familiar home to plan! They identified speakers for large group meetings, set playlists for worship sets, marked dates to host all-night prayer sessions, talked about activities for freshmen participation, and determined the best way to meet, communicate and serve Princeton at large. We are logistically in a position for success—now, we must trust God!

He is the builder of this ministry, and He answers prayers! So, we trust Him to order our steps aright! May we meet with students who are completely lost and on campus without much hope or with vain hope. May we happen upon the loneliest and most home-sick among scholars. May we be a haven for young enthusiasts and an answer to prayer for young believers looking for community. In our various roles, may we together work to develop Christian leaders with a heart to seek God and live for Him!

He is our confidence, and we are so thankful for partners who agree with us and pray for us! Here are some ways to set your faith today:

  • Students in Christian community
  • Increase student interest in Christian Union Nova
  • Grow Bible course demand
  • See the salvation of at least ten students this semester

He is able!

Agapé!
