Christian Union
Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Christian Union Nova remains strong as students study the book of Philippians and near the end of a semester with zeal and genuine camaraderie.

First-year students are engaged in Bible courses and readily share how much they appreciate their fellowship with those of the same precious faith! In addition, many upperclassmen have returned to their Bible courses with greater levels of commitment, and student-to-student discipleship pairs continue to be a place for nurtured friendships. At the same time, large group meetings are charged with sincere worship and messages that convict us all to seek God, love one another, and trust in the reliability of Scripture.

Plans were made to ensure that newcomers and returning students were welcomed to Christian Union Nova for a strong spiritual and academic year despite the effects of a pandemic. Our Father has not only honored those plans, but He has heard all of our prayers and superseded every expectation. Glory to God!We truly have had good success in seeing God’s presence at work within our community, and yet, prayer remains necessary. We must choose to apply the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippian church. In the same way that we ask students to consider what it means for Paul, who was imprisoned, to encourage believers with joy in spite of hardship, we must do the same in asking for your continued partnership!

We ask you, as a partaker of grace (Philippians 1:7, NKJV), to pray! (Philippians 1:4, 19) Pray for:

  1. Stability and strength within Bible courses;
  2. Greater support for student leaders;
  3. Wisdom and discernment for the hiring process at CU Nova;
  4. Increased gospel exposure on campus; and,
  5. For continued student oneness and unity.

Dei sub numine viget.

We are indeed flourishing, just as the Princeton University motto says! We flourish as a ministry because of the hand of God and your constant prayer. Thank you!

Agapé!
