Christian Union
Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Jesus gave us his recipe for producing fruit. In John 15, he said, “Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” We will remember summer 2022 as a season in which we abided in Him with the expectation of bearing much fruit. For Jesus also told us, “If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).

We asked, and 15 new Cornerstone Partners generously joined hands with CU Nova to help fulfill our ministry responsibilities to students. I know many of you are already supporting Christian Union and I want to thank you for your faithfulness. I hope to contact many of you by phone or Zoom video call this month. I wish to thank you for your prayers and financial support and tell you the stories of how CU Nova is shaping the leaders of tomorrow at Princeton University.

This month, we are preparing for our yearly Freshman Campaign. Starting August 31st, the CU Nova faculty will continue the training of our student executive team and other student leaders at our annual three-day pre-retreat in rural Pennsylvania. This is not only a special time for discipleship and training, but also for building friendships that will last a lifetime.

We are excited to announce the launch of the CU Nova Worship Lab, a Wednesday night worship leader training and rehearsal lab in a newly renovated space here at the Melrose Center. We hope the CU Nova Worship Lab will call university students to bring their faith and musical talents to the CU Nova community. There is an untapped pool of talented Princeton students who can find their place through the worship arts.

How can you pray for CU Nova? Please pray for:

  • Revival and energy among Princeton students as they return to campus this fall.
  • Our upcoming Hebrews Bible course as we lead students to trust Christ deeply.
  • Our ministry fellow, Mike Vincent, is currently fasting for 40 days as we press into all God has for Princeton.
  • Our alignment with God in everything we do for we are serving in an important and difficult university setting.

Thank you for your continuous prayers for this ministry, and your generous financial support. We are giving financially and praying with you. If you are passionate about the ministry of Christian Union, would you consider increasing your giving this fall?

In Christ,

Dr. Chris Coppernoll
Ministry Director
Christian Union Nova
