Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

I recently sat down over coffee with a freshman who’s asking tough questions and questioning his faith. He wants to know if Christianity is different than any other world religion. Over another lunch this week, I had the opportunity to share the gospel with a different freshman. This student is struggling with LGBTQ issues and wants to know where he stands with God. Another new student is looking for a community to help him grow in Christ, yet another is seeking accountability and hopes to build his worldview around biblical principles.

Freshmen stories abound. Christian Union’s ministry at Princeton University is entering its third decade. These are just a few examples of how God is using Christian Union to change lives on the Princeton campus this fall. Your prayers and financial partnership help develop America’s future leaders here at Princeton. We want to see a greater number of students transformed into devout men and women of bold Christian faith over this coming academic year. Already, students are flocking to CU Nova’s events:

  • 125 students attended CU Nova’s Open House
  • 55 students came to CU Nova’s Saturday afternoon BBQ
  • CU Nova interacted with 75 students at Princeton’s Activities Fair
  • CU Nova hosted 33 students at our first freshmen dinner

In all, CU Nova has hosted 15 events in the first eight days of our Freshmen Welcoming Campaign, interacting with more than 400 students. Thanks to Cornerstone Partners like you, we are praying for thousands of students on Princeton’s campus to experience Christ for the first time or be discipled by His grace through the ministry of Christian Union.

Would you join us in praying for:

  • Double the number of students enrolled in Bible courses at Princeton.
  • Continued high attendance at CU Nova events and more connections with freshmen.
  • Our upcoming Hebrews Bible course as we lead students to trust Christ more deeply.
  • The CU Nova faculty who serve in a challenging university setting.

Warm regards in Christ,

Dr. Chris Coppernoll
Ministry Director
