Nexus 2016

Nexus, the Christian Union Conference on Faith and Action, was held April 1-3, 2016 in New Haven, Connecticut. Students and professional conferences were held simultaneously, with students in attendance from Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Harvard Law, Penn, Princeton, and Yale.

Christian Union's Director of Athletic Ministries at Stanford University, Jim Black, gave this message on Hebrews 12:1-2 during a plenary session at Nexus, the Christian Union Conference on Faith & Action. (42:21)



Dr. James K.A. Smith, author and Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College, was a plenary speaker at Nexus, the Christian Union Conference on Faith & Action, in New Haven, CT. He addressed the human tendency to be shaped by what we love and long for even more than just what we believe or think. (40:05)



Bishop Harry Jackson, one of the chief conveners of The Reconciled Church: Healing the Racial Divide Movement, and the founder and Chairman of the High Impact Leadership Coalition, he was a plenary speaker the Christian Union Conference on Faith & Action. He is senior pastor of Hope Christian Church, in the Washington, D.C. area, and is the author of several books.

His talk addressed calling, and helped attendees develop a strategy to follow the Lord's guidance concerning career, matrimonial and family choices. (41:15)
