Greetings,

The Spring semester is fully underway here at Columbia; and as our students prepare to endure midterm season, God continues to be faithful through our ministry to them. We’re thankful to God for the Spirit’s work in our Bible courses, Illumina meetings, and discipleship time with our students. The Spirit is indeed at work on Columbia’s campus. One of the ways we are seeing this is by a lifestyle of seeking God on display through daily prayer gatherings happening early morning. Morning prayer is an inter-fellowship gathering that is growing in number and fervency.  Join us in asking God to bring significant change to Columbia through these students’ faithful pursuit of God.

We’re also excited for some outreach opportunities that we have coming up. We are doing a book giveaway of the book Jesus Among Secular Gods by Vince Vitale. Alongside the book giveaway, we will be inviting skeptics to discuss a few chapters in the book over the course of a few weeks. This will culminate in Vince Vitale himself coming to speak at Columbia. We are hoping to see students skeptical of the Christian faith come to Christ through this outreach. Please be praying with us.

Lastly, we’re continuing to see God work in our community through our new ministry center. We’ve had game/movie nights and other socials in this space. It’s clear that students love being in the center, and it is truly bringing joy and fellowship in Christ into our students’ lives.

Here’s how you can also be praying for us:

  • Pray for the aforementioned outreach activities
  • Pray for students as they enter midterm season, that they may endure
and find their identity deeply rooted in Christ no matter the results.
  • Pray for our soon-to-be selected new student leaders

May God’s grace be with you,
