Thank you for your continued prayers for the work on this campus and for New York City. The semester has officially ended, and students are waiting to hear back from the college regarding what classes will look like in the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. So many dreams have been put on pause due to this pandemic, but we are confident that God will continue to reveal His good purposes through this time. We are finding ourselves still connecting with a few students via online means for one-on-one discipleship and for studying scripture, which has been a blessing. Here are some ways you can be praying for us this month:

  • Pray that God would raise up new partners to come alongside CU Lumine and support us through prayer and financial giving
  • Pray for the leadership and the new student executive team as we seek God’s wisdom in mapping out ministry initiatives for the upcoming Fall 2020
  • Pray for the seniors as they transition out of Columbia into the world as graduates. Pray that they would not allow despair or fear to fill their hearts but continue to lean on Christ for all things
  • Pray for the students that are dealing with anxiety, fear, and concern about the future. Pray that they would not allow anxiety to overtake their hearts as so many unknowns are thrown at them, but instead would run to God and find peace
  • Pray for the city, Columbia University, and all those involved in making decisions regarding students returning to campus in the fall.

Once again, thank you for standing in the gap and seeking God’s face for this ministry. If there ever was a moment to pray, it is now. Thank you for seeking God’s face with us.

Blessings,
