Dear Prayer Partners,

I hope this update finds you well! Thank you for praying for our requests last month — God has been answering student’s requests on the prayer board, our alumni panel was a big hit, and students have been taking next steps of faith since the fall retreat, particularly in the areas of seeking God.

Here are 2 community-building and evangelistic opportunities that need your prayers:

Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov 21
This event is one of the most vibrant gatherings of the year. Fully coordinated by our student leaders, each Bible Course will be taking on the challenge of preparing a dish (great for team-building), and we’ll culminate with a celebratory meal at our ministry house at 6 PM. We rarely have this many members of our community and friends gathered in one place! Would you pray that the love and unity of Christ’s body would be put on display? We’ll trust this unity will be a compelling witness to our friends and guests who don’t yet know the joy of belonging to God’s family. Would Christ be the guest of honor, exalted above all!

Stones of Remembrance on Friday, Dec 6
This will be our final large-group gathering of the semester. Students will be sharing stories of God’s faithfulness throughout the semester, such as physical, relational, and spiritual healing, deliverance from trials and afflictions, timely provision, comfort, etc. Pray for the mutual upbuilding of our community and for these testimonies of God’s faithfulness to bring about faith in those who don’t trust him yet.

Be joyful always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus! (1 Thess 5:16-18)

Warmly,
